In Kenya, the 24 local partners of VCA carry out interventions in the following Kenya counties: Kwale, Nakuru, Narok, Samburu and Turkana. Among them a diversity of civil society organizations and grassroots organizations: some youth led, other Indigenous led or woman led. Each local partner employed their own approach collaborating with their respective local partners. Through this mechanism, even more local partners were given a voice. For example, in Kenya VCA has been working with 563 climate Action Groups in Kisumu, Nairobi, with a total membership of 10,134 persons.
